I need help on choosing climbing shoes!?

i want to get come new climbing shoes but i need some help....red chili is my favorite but i was wondering if they have any other shoes that would be ok for wearing them when ur not climbing i found one pair but if you can, show me some other ones thanks=)

What you`re looking for is called approach shoes. They have rock climbing rubber on the bottom of them but they look like sneakers or boots....they`re made for the hike to the cliff so the rubber is used for scrambling or climbing to thebase of a climb but they look and fit like regular shoes. I really like the 5.10 Guide Tennie and the 5.10 Mountain Master

"Wearing them when your not climbing" You mean like walking around town in them? I don't there are ANY actual climbing shoes you could do that in... 5.10, La Sportiva, and a few others have lines of "street" shoes as well as good climbing shoes... I wouldn't get anything that says it's for both climbing and walking around as It would probably suck at both.

your not gunna be able to walk around comfortably in pretty much any shoe unless you get somthing like a cheap madrock or 5.10 ..... some shoe you can sort of walk around in, like walking around the gym between walls but that about it ... just look for something thats not agressive (downturned, sharp toe)
